TableMacros is made by Everuseful LLC ("we"). This explains what data the app uses and why.

Data stored on your device

Your goals, preferences, favorites, food log, saved meals and settings are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. You can clear them anytime by clearing site data in your browser.

Optional account (Supabase)

If you sign in with your email, we use Supabase, our database and login provider, to store your email address and sync your profile, favorites, go-to meals and food log across devices. Each account's data is protected so only that account can read or change it. You can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing us.

Location

When you ask to find restaurants near you, the app uses your device location (with your permission) to look up nearby places and directions. Location lookups go to map services such as OpenStreetMap-based search and routing services. We don't store your location history on our servers. You can type a city or ZIP instead.

Photos and AI estimates

Reading a nutrition label happens entirely on your device; the photo isn't uploaded. If you choose "Estimate from a photo of my food," a downscaled copy of the photo and any text you add are sent through our server to OpenAI to produce an estimate. We don't store the photo. OpenAI processes it under its API data policies. Estimates are labeled and are only saved if you log them.

Payments

Premium payments aren't live yet. When they are, payments will be handled by a payment provider (such as Stripe or Apple), and we won't see your full card number.

Analytics and sharing

We don't sell your personal data or share it for advertising. Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and rate limiting.

Children

TableMacros isn't intended for children under 13.
